Thanks for stopping by and commenting Lauren. I totally agree with everything you just typed. Paying the premium is definitely scary especially when you are not sure how quickly (or how long ) it will take to get a return on that. No one wants to see that money go down the drain.

I'm glad you loved the jeans analogy. BTW - I do look great and feel good in them. hehehehhe!

Felicia, you speak TRUTH!! I have always believed that "when we want something with all of our hearts, the Universe conspires to help us!" (That is from Paulo Coelho's "The Alchemist.") This was true for me when I wanted a new website! Of course, paying premium prices might make us wince at first---but then it is like "isn't my message worth being portrayed in the most truthful and professional way?" When we say yes to that, we are saying yes to our message and our market!! I love the jeans analogy and I am sure that you look and feel fabulous in your new jeans!

So very true! And might I add, what makes the difference in first knowing how to communicate what you do in ways that get people to notice and want to work with you..regardless of whether you have a web site. The key is to show you are a problem solver. People choose providers based on whether they feel that provider understands them, will be easy to work with and can solve their problem.

I so get this "Take inventory of everything you do throughout the
day. Not what’s on your to do list, but the things you actually do.
You’ll see how much time you spend on non-income producing activities..." It's one of the things I say to myself first and then to my clients - when you reflect on the end of the day, of that day, are you pleased with the results?

Your message was a reminder to me to take inventory - because non-income producing is definitely not part of the plan :) Thx!
